I’m Jenni.
I run Ninth Dimension Breathwork in Cardiff, Wales: breathwork, bodywork, and energy work for people who’ve tried everything “right” and still feel disconnected from themselves. Here’s how I ended up doing this.
The Burnout
My background is in corporate human rights, and I still do a little of it now. But for a long time it was the main event, and it was a job built on wanting to help people that burnt me out completely.
I tried to fix it the way you’re “supposed” to: yoga, retreats, therapy, more yoga. And if I’m honest, I also tried to fix it the way you’re not supposed to: a bit too much wine, working even harder to outrun how I felt. None of it really landed. I just got better at managing the exhaustion, not at feeling any different underneath it.
Finding Breathwork
Then I did a connected, psychosomatic breathwork journey, and it did something none of the rest had. For the first time, I felt like I was actually in my body, not just managing it from the outside.

So I trained. Properly. I hold a Breath Master certification in somatic transformational breathwork. I’ve also trained in pranayama with the British School of Yoga, and I’m a certified 9D Breathwork practitioner. I use 9D’s audio tools, but every journey I run is recorded in my own voice, built around my own style. I also have a degree in psychology.
At the time, there wasn’t anyone offering this kind of transformational breathwork locally in Cardiff. So what started as me trying to find myself became something I could offer other people too.
What I Actually Believe
Your nervous system is the most intelligent thing about you. In evolutionary terms, it developed long before your thinking brain did; it’s older, and it’s usually right, even when it’s inconvenient, especially when it’s telling you to rest, or stop, or say no to something you’ve been conditioned to say yes to.
Most of us live in our heads. Breathwork is a way back into your body: a tool to get you there, nothing more mystical than that, even if what happens once you’re there sometimes feels like magic.
I’m not interested in diagnosing you or handing you a list of shoulds. A lot of wellness practitioners will do that. I’d rather help you get quiet enough to hear yourself.

And I don’t think the goal is to be permanently calm. Some of my life has needed “let’s crack on and shift this” energy, and some of it has needed me to actually sit still and feel something, which I never used to be able to do. There’s a third state too: balance, somewhere in between the two. All three matter. What I want for my clients is a nervous system strong enough to move between all three, to mobilise when it’s time to act, to properly rest when it’s time to stop, and to find balance in between.
How I Work
I keep things small, slow when they need to be, and safe, always. Breathwork is powerful, and it’s an unregulated industry. I’ve seen how carelessly it can be run, and I don’t work that way. No rush. No force. No expectation.
In sessions, especially 1:1, I draw on more than breath: reflexology, Indian head massage, Reiki, tuning forks, and other bodywork and energy work, depending on what you actually need that day. None of it is a fixed menu. It’s a response to what’s in front of me.
The Quiet Moments Matter Too
Not everything has to be a big journey. Some of the most powerful breathwork I do is a single conscious breath in the middle of an ordinary day, noticing how you’re breathing, and choosing to change it changes your state. That’s it. That’s the whole mechanism, just at a smaller scale.

That idea is actually where Brew & Breathe came from. During COVID, I got into herbalism while looking after my own immune system, blending teas for friends and family, and doing breathwork online in the evenings, almost without realising the two were the same instinct. A cup of tea can shift the shape of your day. So can one deep breath. When the world opened back up, people wanted both, so it became its own small thing alongside this one. If you’re curious, you can find it at brewandbreathe.co.uk.
I like that this work doesn’t only live in a big journey with me. Some of it should fit into an ordinary Tuesday.
Let's Work Together
Whether that’s a group session or something more tailored, one-to-one, I’d love to have you in the room.
